In 2010 we will be short of 70 000 ITers

If the economical climat is favorable and according to estimations of the CEPIS (Council of European Professional Informatics Societies), European companies will need 250.000 ITers within two years
whereas only 180 000 specialists will be available.

Worse even! Between now and 2015 the annual need of IT professionals will raise up to 129 000 when the offer is in free fall and will only have 51.000 available specialists.
Even if we take the economic crisis into consideration, there is little reason for enthousiasm says CEPIS as we will still miss 38 000 ITers.
